Pure Aromatics are blended only with the purest ingredients in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Pesticide-free dried herbs & pure essential oils give you the benefits each plant and aroma offers. There are no artificial preservatives or colorings added. Each product comes with a corresponding crystal or stone & is lovingly reiki-charged. As always, all essential oils are diluted before use. You may see some salts or lotions are tinted different colors. These hues originate from the essential oils used in the mixes.

Cathy Podd, L.M.T, R.M.T, C.A, owner and blending "magician", started making bath soaks because she saw the benefit of taking a soak after long days, bringing a bit of joy and relief. Many years working with essential oils led her to learn about the wisdom of the plants they came from and went back to school for a year of certification in aromatherapy and herbalism courses. Being a life-long lover of baths, massage, herbs, and crystals, she decided to blend everything she loved into one. Pure Aromatics strive to buy as many supplies locally or through small businesses as possible.

Safety in Essential Oils

Essential Oils are the concentrated essence of the plants. Essential Oils have recently boomed on the market. Though they have a long history in our world, the public has started looking to their benefits more and more. It's important to know when using undiluted essential oils, you should handle them with care and consult with an experienced Aromatherapist. I, personally, do not use essential oils undiluted unless I am diffusing. They are volatile oils and though there shouldn't be fear in using them, there should be respect. If you are interested in learning more about using essential oils safely, consider one of my classes.

Herbal Wisdom

The use of plant benefits and their wisdom date back to the beginning of humankind. Though over time, it has waned in Western civilization, it is starting to come back around into homes. Herbal teas, infused oils, and extracts are wonderful ways to benefit from the plants when essential oils are too strong. From Peruvians that listen and speak with the plants, to Chinese medicine, to Western Herbalism, it can take a lifetime to learn about every plant on this beautiful Earth and what they offer. Start with one safe plant and learn, touch smell, taste, and listen to the subtle energies. You'll find the wisdom before you know it..
